Hello again!

It has been a while since I posted here and thank's to you I found out that my little cart is a Swedish Kirketrille. Very Happy

I now have two horses. Zero and we also have a grablakke gelding named Dorinn. He just became 3 years this year and is still a bit childish, so we haven't been riding him yet. In the near future we will start teaching him the basics.

This is Dorinn last winter (yes, we had lots of snow!)

Zero and Dorinn. I now painted the doors Very Happy

Now for something completely different Cool

I was doing up the outside of Zero & Dorinns stables and I'd like to make (wooden) some sort of name plates. I would like them to be really Norwegian (or Norwegian like). Wink
Do any of you have an idea or do you have a Scandinavian/Norwegian nameplate for your Fjordhest? I'm looking for ideas. I thought of making little plates in the shape of a Fjordhest (like the Swedish Ikea-horse).
Maybe there are really Norwegian ornaments/ painted flowers etc etc. ??

I'm very curious what sort of name plates you have!

Greetings,
Megan

If you want some really nice painted signs perhaps theese could help you? They live nearby me and have lots of "rosemåla" (rosepainted?) things. Links:

If you are a good artist yourself you can just copy Smile

Hei,

Thanks! That looks nice! I'm quite good with painting but I think this is more difficult then it looks. Laughing

I can try though! Maybe I can paint a little horse, or a horse's head and some flowers around it! Smile Thanks again! Do most people in Norway have stableplates? Or is it not as common as in Holland?

It depends Smile Some stables have stableplates that you can wright the name of your horse, but other dont. And then you have to make your own if you are allowed to have it on the wall Smile
